False statement - Uninterrupted travel along coast

The news item in The Advertiser suggests that this will be happening soon.

Really? Can we have a date on that?

I suspect no date will be provided, and the news is misleading and false.

Fwd: Unsatisfactory Road Repair - Before-After photos (WTCC)

To West Torrens Council csu@wtcc.sa.gov.au

This was reported to West Torrens Council 15 Dec 2009.

The attached image shows how the dip was repaired, yet a rut, extending over 1 metre long and more than 50mm deep was not attended to.

This rut will not only damage a bicycle on impact, it will catch the wheel and cause a fall onto the roadway.

Please confirm how and when West Torrens Council will meet the basic duty of care to remove this road hazards for cyclists.
This issue has been published to Ride Out Loud (http://rideoutloud.blogspot.com/) for general discussion.
