Roadrepair is an independent website designed to help you, the road users, to report road surface faults, potholes, and hazards, hence improve the state of your local roads. Faults that have been reported are published here. More information about criteria, responsibilities and issues for each State is at www.roadrepair.wikispaces.com.
Attached is a photo of a storm water cover that has moved. It is on the
corner of Yarmouth st and Brighton road. This is a hazard for cyclists,
pedestrians and strollers, wheelchairs and frames. The medical surgery has a
high volume of use of this path.
The hazards for a cyclist may be:
- impact with an depression or bump
- catching of the wheel with an edge or rut
- collision with vehicle or another cyclist while avoiding hazard
Any hazard near a corner is worst as the cyclist may be signalling a turn
(one handed), watching out for traffic entering the intersection, or
negotiating the turn.

Hello
Please find attached another location of blue cateye that are hazardous for
cyclists.
There are two of them in line with the path a cyclist takes.
This is just west of Brighton road, and a very busy section to be dealing
with traffic from shops, passing traffic AND road surface.
Please pass this information on to your contact for other cateye hazards.
Thanks and regards
Please see the attached Photo of the hazard at corner of jetty road and
Brighton road.
Hazard: Blue, cat-eye reflector glued to road surface in bike lane.
Location:
King George ave
At pedestrian crossing to Brighton Secondary School
Other Locations:
There are two blue reflectors in Jetty Rd (South side) between the tram line
and the car parks. This is the path that a cyclist uses and these reflectors
also need to be moved.
This issue had been brought up at a previous BUG meeting.
Dear Sir,
The road is being monitored and repaired by depot staff, until it will be resealed
Yours faithfully,

Dear Anthony,
Council has received an email received from a resident of Holdfast Bay with respect to the subsided Telstra pit adjacent the pedestrian pram ramp at the corner of Anzac Highway and Grove Street, Glenelg East.
Attached is a copy of the photo detailing the area of concern for your reference.
Given that this presents an immediate hazard to cyclists and pedestrian, can you please ensure that Telstra staff inspect and organise necessary works as soon as possible.
Many Thanks
Kind Regards
