This fault has got a lot worse in 24 hours.
This is due to the gas company contractor using the original soil (sandy) as fill.
Holdfast Council has been advised of the severity of the hazard 13 Feb (11.30pm).

Advised by Holdfast Council of a 10 day turnaround.
Request made to reassess the site as the fill used is not suitable road base (sand) and all of the unsealed surface is a hazard to cyclists.
Holdfast council have contacted the Gas Company and notified them "...that contractors should be advised that solid rubble should be used for backfill, not sand." (email 13 Feb 2008)
